Before real estate, I spent 16 years in hospitality, including restaurant management in premium resorts around Australia. That experience still shapes how I support sellers and buyers today.
One lesson has stayed with me throughout my career: we have two ears and one mouth. Selling a property is not always straightforward. It can follow change, loss, separation or uncertainty about what comes next. My role is to make that process feel calmer, clearer and more manageable.
Although my seller is my client, I believe the best outcomes happen when both sides to the transaction are treated with care. When home buyers feel informed, respected and comfortable dealing with me, it helps create a smoother path for my vendors too.
Sometimes the best result comes from thinking beyond the obvious. As I often say, if you can say yes, say yes. That might mean negotiating a longer settlement, discussing a rent-back arrangement, or helping a seller move forward before they have found their next home.
I also have a passion for helping first-home buyers navigate the home-buying process. When buyers are informed and ready to make offers, it helps smooth the path for my sellers. I am also highly experienced in supporting sellers through major life transitions, particularly women, older clients and families who need guidance, options and time to understand what is possible.
I like to describe myself as ‘a real woman in real estate’. I am a sales agent, a mother and an experienced theatre practitioner. I do not take myself too seriously, but I take what I do very seriously.
